If you like fruit pie's you have to try this recipe on an apple crumble with a twist. The pie has a perfect combination of sweet, sour and a hint of salt. Served best with a vanilla custard, whipped cream or vanilla ice cream. Enjoy!
Recipe:
1. Turn the oven to 225°C.
2. Cut the butter into cubes. Pinch the butter, flour and oatmeal into the texture of chunky wet sand. Mix in the sugar and flaky sea salt.
3. Peel and cut the apples into small cubes, mix them with the cinnamon, sugar, and salt in a buttered pie pan, approximately 28 cm in diameters.
4. Distribute the crumbs over the apples in the pan and place in the middle of the oven for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown.
5. Let cool and then serve with topping of choice.

125 g cold butter / 黄油
•120 g wheat flour / 面粉
30 g rolled oats / 燕麦片
•130 g caster sugar / 糖
•1/2 tsp flaky sea salt / 盐
•800 g apples / 苹果
•1 tsp ground cinnamon / 肉桂
•2 tsp caster sugar / 糖
1/2 tsp flaky sea salt / 盐
butter for the dish /黄油
Serve with whipped cream, custard or vanilla ice cream.
