Swedish snaps, deeply rooted in the country's rich cultural traditions, holds a cherished place in festive gatherings and celebrations. The family-owned company Saturnus has been producing beverages since 1893. Pharmacist Fritz Borg founded the company in Malmö. His idea was to manufacture products such as glögg, liqueur, and spirits. A few years later, the company started producing flavors for soft drinks, a new type of beverage at the time. All schnapps are made in the factory in Malmö, and the company strives to choose locally grown raw materials such as wormwood, angelica, and St. John's wort whenever possible.
